- Senior to join our team! This is a remote work position that requires residency in KY or IN. Under minimal supervision, the Application Analyst – Senior is responsible for the strategic administration, implementation, optimization, and lifecycle management of enterprise medical device integration and surgical applications. This role serves as the primary technical expert for assigned systems and provides advanced consultation to operational leaders, clinicians, project teams, vendors, and IT leadership.
The Senior Analyst leads medium-to-large initiatives, develops technical standards, drives workflow improvements, and mentors other analysts. The position requires advanced technical expertise and independent decision-making related to patient monitoring systems, medical device integrations, perioperative applications, and related clinical technologies. Consistent with Baptist Health's Senior Analyst role, this position provides advanced application expertise, leads projects, manages stakeholder expectations, and resolves moderately complex to complex technical issues.
Duties
- Serve as the technical lead for:
Epic Device Integration, Capsule Technologies, Philips Patient Monitoring, Mindray Patient Monitoring, Central Monitoring integrations and workflows - Design, implement, and optimize enterprise integration solutions.
- Lead troubleshooting of complex interface, workflow, and integration issues.
- Establish technical standards, support models, and deployment strategies.
- Partner with Clinical Engineering, Nursing, Operations, and Infrastructure teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Serve as senior technical resource for:
Pro Vation MD, STERIS Hexa Vue, Sterile Processing technology platforms, Track Core, Tissue Tracking
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Clinical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 5–8+ years of healthcare IT, clinical systems, device integration, or application support experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading healthcare technology projects.
- Advanced understanding of clinical workflows, interoperability, and integration technologies.
- Epic certification(s), particularly Device Integration or clinical application certifications.
- Experience implementing or supporting Philips, Mindray, Capsule, or enterprise central monitoring solutions.
- Experience with HL7, interfaces, integration engines, and clinical device connectivity.
- Experience supporting Pro Vation, STERIS Hexa Vue, Track Core, or comparable perioperative applications.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring, workflow optimization, and systems integration strategy.
- Project leadership or project management experience.
