Esox Engineering is creating a new Engineering Project Manager role to help strengthen how projects are planned, executed, and delivered across our growing product development consultancy. You'll work alongside experienced engineers developing medical, consumer, furniture, and industrial products while helping establish the systems, practices, and discipline that create predictable project execution.

If you've spent years leading technical product development projects and have ideas about how project management should work—but haven't had the opportunity to shape it—this role may be worth a conversation.

We're a small, highly respected engineering consulting firm that helps clients turn ideas into successful products.

Our engineers lead technical decisions and client relationships. Your role is to partner closely with them, bringing clarity, visibility, and momentum to complex development efforts.

• Partner with Lead Engineers to build practical project plans and execution strategies
• Develop schedules, milestones, work breakdown structures, and project roadmaps
• Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously
• Keep teams aligned, focused, and moving forward
• Identify risks, obstacles, and decision points before they become surprises
• Maintain visibility into scope, schedule, budget, and overall project health
• Support client communication related to timelines, milestones, and delivery expectations
• Help develop the tools, processes, and systems that improve project execution across the company

• 8+ years of project management experience within engineering or product development environments
• Experience leading multidisciplinary product development programs
• Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and clients
• Comfort working through ambiguity and changing priorities
• A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset

• Engineering degree
• Product development consulting experience
• PMP or similar certification
