Job Description & How to Apply Below

TRIFECTA Singapore by The Ride Side is Asia’s first integrated surf‑snow‑skate destination, offering snowboarding, surfing, and skating experiences in the heart of Singapore. The venue brings mountain and wave environments to the tropics, creating a unique space for self‑expression and progression in action sports. TRIFECTA aims to build a new culture of youthful collaboration, connecting sports enthusiasts, creatives, and lifestyle seekers.

The team focuses on delivering high‑quality, accessible experiences for guests of all skill levels while fostering a vibrant, community‑driven environment. Freshly relaunched as a sports and lifestyle space, we run as three businesses under one roof:
Surf, Snow and Lifestyle.

Role Description

The COO – Trifecta Singapore is a full‑time, hybrid role based in Singapore, with a mix of on‑site presence at the destination and some flexibility for remote work. This role oversees day‑to‑day operations across surf, snow, and skate facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality guest experiences. The COO manages business planning, budgeting, and financial performance, and collaborates with leadership to execute strategic initiatives that drive growth and profitability.

Responsibilities include leading cross‑functional teams, optimizing operational processes, managing vendor and partner relationships, and implementing data‑driven improvements. The COO also works closely with marketing and community teams to support events, programming, and brand‑building activities aligned with TRIFECTA’s vision.

Responsibilities Commercial & P&L
  • Own the venue P&L end to end: revenue by BU, gross margin, EBITDA and cash discipline.
  • Build annual budgets with BU heads; hold payroll to its target ratio.
  • Approve BU pricing structures and any pricing outside approved bands.
  • Review the monthly management P&L by BU with the finance team; flag and diagnose any metric missing plan by more than 10%.
Leadership & organisation
  • Lead, coach and hold accountable the three BU heads and shared services leads
  • Set quarterly priorities: maximum three per BU, two per shared function; enforce the 'no addition without a drop' rule on scope changes.
  • Approve all salaried hires within the approved org plan; run final‑round interviews for salaried roles.
  • Approve PIPs and exits; ensure no surprise terminations and no avoided conversations.
Operating rhythm & governance
  • Run the monthly business review per BU (one page: P&L vs target, priorities, risks).
  • Maintain the venue scorecard: revenue, recurring revenue (MRR), utilisation peak/off‑peak, EBITDA, repeat rate, NPS, payroll ratio.
  • Report to founders quarterly in a board‑style review; monthly one‑page update.
  • Own the Management SOP Handbook — keep it current and enforced.
  • Arbitrate cross‑BU conflicts within 5 working days, with a written decision.
Guest experience & standards
  • Set venue‑wide service standards; enforce through the Senior Duty Manager's GX playbook and the MOD structure.
  • Own NPS and repeat rate as venue‑level metrics; commission fixes when they diverge between BUs.
  • Approve the master rota (safeguard: the scheduling function does not approve its own shifts).
  • Own the HR agency and booking platform vendor relationships at contract level (day‑to‑day: Growth & CRM Lead).
  • Oversee the F&B operator contract with the GM, Lifestyle, including incentive alignment to target.
  • Brief external counsel on operating contracts; elevate structural matters (lease, cap table, shareholder) to founders untouched.
  • Carry ultimate accountability for safety, licensing and regulatory compliance, executed through the Facilities & Technical Lead.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years leading venues, hospitality, attractions or fitness businesses at comparable scale with full P&L ownership.
  • Proven leadership through a management layer — coaching unit heads rather than operating directly.
  • Track record of revenue growth, not only cost management.
  • Candidates should possess strong Business Planning and strategic leadership skills, including experience developing and executing growth plans.
  • Candidates should possess Operations Management capabilities, with a track record of managing multi‑site or complex…
