The Remote Billeting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day billeting operations for personnel supporting the Security division. This role provides leadership and direction to billeting staff, ensures efficient accommodation assignments and travel coordination, and maintains exceptional customer service standards in a dynamic remote camp environment. The successful candidate must be highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities, and able to lead a team while adapting to changing operational demands.
Job DescriptionThe Remote Billeting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day billeting operations for personnel supporting the Security division. This role provides leadership and direction to billeting staff, ensures efficient accommodation assignments and travel coordination, and maintains exceptional customer service standards in a dynamic remote camp environment. The successful candidate must be highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities, and able to lead a team while adapting to changing operational demands.
This position follows a two (2) weeks on, two (2) weeks off rotational schedule and is based at the Kuparuk oil field.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily billeting operations to ensure efficient lodging services and compliance with company and client requirements.
- Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate billeting personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure operational excellence.
- Assign personnel accommodations across multiple remote camp locations while maximizing occupancy and operational efficiency.
- Oversee travel logistics and coordination for operations personnel, ensuring accuracy and timely execution of travel arrangements.
- Develop and maintain work schedules, rotations, and staffing plans to meet operational demands.
- Monitor billeting office workflows and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks, reports, and documentation.
- Review and approve routine billeting records, room assignments, occupancy reports, and other operational documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer service issues and resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain effective communication with senior management, contractors, clients, vendors, and camp personnel.
- Ensure accurate utilization of billeting and travel management software systems and provide troubleshooting support when necessary.
- Identify, evaluate, and communicate software or system issues to management, IT support, and vendors.
- Analyze occupancy trends, staffing needs, and operational metrics to recommend process improvements and increase efficiency.
- Ensure incoming mail, packages, and correspondence are managed and distributed promptly.
- Promote and enforce company policies, procedures, safety standards, and client requirements.
- Conduct audits and quality assurance reviews of billeting processes to maintain service standards and compliance.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and disciplinary processes for billeting staff.
- Support budget adherence and resource management within the billeting function.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of departmental and operational objectives.
- This position has supervisory responsibilities.
- Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit’s success also may be assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum five (5) years of directly related billeting supervisory experience.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to operate in a climate of confidentiality requiring professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to effectively operate general office equipment, PC’s and type at least 45 words per minute.
- Must have intermediate experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Reliable and dependable attendance in a remote setting.
