Duties

* Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics management operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.

* Plans logistics management workload to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short/long-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.

* Participates in special logistics management operation projects and initiatives and performs special assignments.

* Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

* Meets with key customers and coordinating officials to assess customer satisfaction, explain organization policy and procedures, and resolves significant problems that arise.
