PMO Manager

Compensation:$96,200 - $129,000 annually, depending on experience

Location:Lenexa, Kansas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled PMO Manager
to join their team!

This is a high-impact builder role for a delivery leader who wants to shape how strategic work gets executed across an organization. You’ll lead a growing team of project managers, strengthen governance, and improve visibility into cross-functional initiatives. This opportunity offers meaningful executive exposure, the chance to influence enterprise-wide delivery practices, and room to build something lasting.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers
• Build and mature PMO standards and governance
• Improve project planning, risk tracking, and reporting
• Increase visibility into strategic initiatives and dependencies
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to support execution
• Create useful metrics and portfolio-level reporting
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and remove barriers
• Support adoption of modern tools, automation, and AI
• Drive stronger communication across teams and stakeholders

Required Qualifications &

Experience:

• 7+ years in project, program, or portfolio management
• 3+ years of people leadership experience
• Experience building or maturing a PMO
• Background leading cross-functional initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
• Ability to influence without direct authority
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Exposure to AI used for practical problem-solving

Nice to Have

Skills & Experience:

• Project management certification such as PMP or PgMP
• Experience with portfolio management tools
• Background supporting transformation initiatives
• Experience with operational improvement efforts
• Familiarity with Agile practices
• Experience building executive-ready reporting
• Annual bonus opportunity up to 20%
