Our Program Management team under the Commerce Experiences pillar in Marketing work on some of the most impactful and challenging problems in the Software industry. We are a highly collaborative cross-functional group that operates on the edge between Engineering and the business and helps to design solutions from concept to launch - all while focusing on and advocating for what's best for our customers.

We work closely with Engineering and Design to create some of the most innovative never-been-done-before products. We partner with the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Security teams to bring the product to market. The Senior Technical Program Manager will be responsible for managing the scope, impact, and technical complexity of programs through all phases of the product life cycle.

This role will manage interdependencies and integrations across projects, teams, and stakeholders. This position will work in conjunction with Product Management, and Engineering to ensure the delivery of our roadmap, and deliver the underlying platform systems and applications necessary to support continued system scale, a broadening product portfolio, the basis for new innovative product capabilities, and improve operational efficiencies related to these areas.

This position's objectives will be directly linked to business metrics such as revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency; and technical metrics such as system stability, scalability and performance, and quality of service.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager of Program Management and Operations.

Responsibility

• Drive the end-to-end delivery of technical PLG initiatives across the full engineering stack

• Work with Technical Leads on Engineering design decisions, and contribute to the architectural design reviews to ensure we continue to raise our technical standards

• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, UX, Marketing, Sales, Support, Legal, Finance, and IT to deliver best in-class experience for our customers

• Keep leadership and business teams updated on project timelines and results

• Identify program dependencies based on a thorough understanding of existing technical systems design and define end to end launch plan ensuring Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Support, Legal, Finance dependencies are represented

• Partner with Product Management and Engineering leads to facilitate continuous roadmap planning

• Define communication plan for programs

• Lead communication within the team, to stakeholders at cross-functional meetings

• Ensure adherence to Project Life Cycle and Software Development Life Cycle while maintaining visibility to Release Management

• Identify and track risks to project delivery and overall program schedule

• Work with cross-team leadership to conduct Level of Effort estimation and resource planning, which includes understanding the details of engineering efforts based on the architecture and development
