We are currently looking to hire a Director of Risk Advisory to join our Corporate team in Kirkland! This position allows for remote working arrangements within the United States.
Job DescriptionResponsible for leading the continued evolution and growth of Concentric Advisors’ Business Development and Risk Advisory practices by integrating exceptional client service, strategic business development, scalable methodologies, and operational excellence into a unified consulting practice. Working with the Chief Growth & Strategy Officer and VP of Risk Advisory, this role is responsible for growing revenue, expanding client relationships, building delivery capacity, and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across the Risk Advisory portfolio.
While remaining engaged in select client consulting, the Director’s primary responsibility is to build a sustainable, scalable practice capable of supporting Concentric’s long-term growth strategy.
The Director of Risk Advisory position is expected to evolve as the practice grows. Initially, the Director will remain heavily engaged in client delivery while simultaneously expanding Risk Advisory capabilities, developing systems and methodology, supporting business development, and building a scalable delivery team. After the first 6 months or so, the role will shift to 40% business development focused, 40% Risk Advisory, and 20% program management.
Responsibilities- Leads Concentric’s Business Development efforts with a split portfolio — providing Risk Advisory consulting services directly to clients while driving business development growth for the Risk Advisory and Retainer Partnership service lines.
- Business Development responsibilities:
- Work under the Chief Growth & Strategy Officer to create integrated growth strategies that leverage Risk Advisory to deepen existing relationships and generate opportunities across Concentric’s broader service offerings.
- Expand Risk Advisory’s contribution to firm-wide revenue growth by identifying opportunities for both new clients and expanded services within existing client relationships.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients with ongoing advisory or retainer relationships.
- Collaborate with Business Development to strengthen proposal quality, competitive positioning, and client engagement strategies.
- Identify opportunities where Risk Advisory serves as an entry point to additional Concentric service lines.
- Manages Concentric’s retainer and partnership client relationships, serving as the primary point of accountability for clients on ongoing advisory agreements.
- Risk Advisory Service Delivery responsibilities:
- Lead the continued development of Concentric’s Risk Advisory practice, in collaboration with the Vice President of Risk Advisory and the Chief Growth & Strategy Officer.
- Build scalable systems that support consistent, high-quality consulting delivery.
