This position is in the Supervisory Union (SU) bargaining unit at a range 24.

Please note, this position requires full-time on-site work at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson to facilitate collaboration with various divisions supported by DAS' Administrative Section. Remote work may be permitted up to two days a week, subject to the hiring manager’s approval, and/or successful completion of probation.
What You Will Be Doing
The Division of Administrative Services (DAS) is seeking a Division Operations Manager to serve as the principal assistant to the Division Director and senior executive advisor. This leadership role oversees statewide administrative operations, including finance, budgeting, procurement, information technology, and support services. The incumbent develops and implements agency policies, ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, supervises senior level managers, and leads strategic initiatives that support the department's mission.
The position also serves a key role in fostering a supportive environment where division team members feel valued, empowered, and cared for. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with strong skills in public administration, financial management, strategic planning, and organizational leadership.
