We’re hiring a full-time Director, Loan Servicing for our Home ownership Division.
As the Director, Loan Servicing, you will provide strategic leadership for loan servicing operations, oversee compliance and risk management efforts, and help ensure homeowners have access to the support and resources they need to achieve long-term housing stability. In this role, you will:
- Lead the organization's loan servicing operations, overseeing the development of servicing policies and procedures, subservicer performance, delinquency management, foreclosure prevention and property disposition.
- Manage the organization’s relationship with its third-party subservicer, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, monitoring performance and service standards and overseeing monthly remittance and reporting processes.
- Analyze portfolio performance, delinquency trends, loss mitigation outcomes, foreclosure activity, and financial results to identify risks, opportunities, and strategies that support homeowners and organizational goals.
- Prepare and present operational, financial, and portfolio performance reports to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to support effective decision-making and long-term planning.
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team by fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement through regular feedback, performance management, and professional development opportunities.
To support onboarding and training, the initial weeks of employment will be conducted in-office. Following this period, remote work may be available on an intermittent basis, as determined by the manager.
Your experience, skills, and education should include:
- A strong customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to helping borrowers navigate their options and achieve the best possible outcome.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate large loan portfolios, interpret complex data, identify trends and emerging risks, and use insights to inform operational and strategic decisions.
- Previous leadership experience within residential mortgage servicing.
Commercial loan servicing experience is a plus. - Knowledge of loan servicing practices, regulatory requirements, delinquency management and foreclosure prevention.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least five years' relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
