Are you a clinical leader who is passionate about strengthening families, developing high-performing teams, and creating meaningful change for youth and communities?

We are seeking an experienced clinical leader to serve as MST Divisional Director
, providing clinical, administrative, and operational leadership for Multisystemic Therapy (MST) teams across multiple counties, as well as FTC and LIFT programs. This position offers the opportunity to lead high-impact, evidence-based services that strengthen families, support youth success, and improve outcomes within the community.

The MST Program Director partners with agency leadership, MST consultants, supervisors, therapists, funders, and community stakeholders to ensure model fidelity, program effectiveness, quality improvement, and sustainable growth. This role provides leadership through the development of supervisors, support of clinical excellence, and advancement of family-centered, community-based services.

Divisional Director

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and Develop Teams
  • Provide reflective supervision, coaching, feedback, and professional development to supervisors and staff
  • Build supervisory leadership capacity by mentoring supervisors and strengthening their ability to support and develop therapists.
Ensure Program Excellence and Model Fidelity
  • Provide leadership and oversight for MST, FTC, and LIFT programs, including clinical quality, staffing, outcomes, referrals, and program sustainability.
  • Ensure MST services are implemented with fidelity to the MST model and aligned with required program practices.
  • Monitor program outcomes, performance data, and model adherence indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and strengthen service delivery.
Support Program Growth and Sustainability
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners on program development, funding strategies, resource planning, and community partnerships.
  • Support strategic planning, program development, and implementation of initiatives that advance program goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners to support program effectiveness and sustainability
Champion Family-Centered and Inclusive Practice
  • Promote culturally responsive, equitable, family-driven, and community-based services.
  • Support collaborative systems of care that improve outcomes for youth and families.

This is a hybrid leadership role that combines remote work, program oversight, and community engagement. Regular travel to agency and program sites, community locations, and partner organizations is required. This position oversees programs in Onondaga, Tompkins, Tioga, and Ulster Counties and in Nueces County, TX.

Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related clinical field with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Prior supervisory and program leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to lead clinical teams, develop staff capacity, and implement clinical and non‑clinical programs.
  • Experience with quality improvement, outcome monitoring, regulatory or contractual compliance, evidence-based practices, and community-based systems of care preferred.
  • Experience overseeing multiple programs, teams, or service locations preferred.
  • Must possess a valid New York State driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation.
