The division does $25 million. The VP of Sales and the senior rep hold the biggest accounts — and most of their time. That leaves five to six reps who need a manager in the field with them every week.
Nobody's had the bandwidth to be that person.
This is 80% coach, 20% player. Think strength coach, not head coach. You carry a small book to model the process. But your win is your team's win.
You write the week: what Monday looks like for a rep on pace, what gets reviewed Friday, what happens when it's not done. Then you hold them to it, in person.
Get it right, and your team takes the division to $50M.
