The OPS – Cash Services Team is a core group within Outsourced Platform Services responsible for supporting middle-office operations for client portfolios, assets, and transactions. The team plays a critical role in ensuring cash and position data is accurate and available for investment management, analytics, compliance, and regulatory activities.
As a Vice President within Cash Services, you will be a senior member of the team responsible for overseeing cash reconciliation and exception management processes that help manage operational risk for the firm. You will lead a team of professionals, drive process improvements, and partner with colleagues across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions to deliver high-quality operational outcomes. This role combines people leadership, risk oversight, stakeholder management, and operational excellence.
YourResponsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop team members through ongoing performance management, goal setting, career development, and feedback.
- Contribute to workforce planning, succession planning, and location strategy as a member of the management team.
- Oversee daily cash reconciliation and exception management activities, ensuring timely identification, escalation, and resolution of breaks.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks while appropriately escalating service and control issues.
- Maintain a strong understanding of applicable regulatory requirements and ensure adherence to established controls and procedures.
- Drive operational enhancements, process optimization initiatives, and efficiency-focused improvements that strengthen controls and reduce risk.
- Monitor and report key operational metrics to support productivity, efficiency, and management oversight.
- Lead change initiatives, including standardization and automation efforts, and evaluate the impact of proposed improvements.
- Develop an understanding of upstream processes and assess how process changes impact reconciliation activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating issue resolution and driving positive client outcomes.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture while modeling leadership behaviors and organizational principles.
- Minimum of 5 years of financial services experience, preferably within investment management, fund accounting, global custody, or related operational environments.
- Prior experience with reconciliation, exception management, or middle-office operations is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of people-management or supervisory experience, including employee development and performance management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across functions and seniority levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and the ability to learn new technologies and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver strategic and tactical improvements that enhance operational effectiveness and control environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of ownership, accountability, and driving issues through to resolution.
For Wilmington, DE only, the salary range for this position is USD$ - USD$. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
