We’relooking for an inspiring and commercially minded General Manager, DMC Canada to lead our Canadian operations, grow our business, and bring our purpose and values to life across the country.

The General Manager, DMC Canadais responsible for leading and effectively managing

Intrepid’soperations across Canada. The GM will implement long-term strategic plans while overseeing the day-to-day business, with a strong emphasis on people leadership - building, coaching, andretaininga high-performing team and a connected, engaged field workforce of leaders, guides, and crew across the country.

The successful candidate willbe responsible for driving growth and strengthening the Intrepid brand across key Canadian markets and destinations, including the Rockies, Atlantic Canada, Québec, Ontario, and the North. They will provide leadership to enable the company to achieve its goals by developing new business, driving sales growth, ensuring profitability, delivering exceptional products and experiences to our partners, and building a high-performing team across the country.

Reporting to the President, Canada, this role will work closely with the General Manager,DMC
-USA, as well as other GMs and the global business, to achieve broader strategic goals and deliver strong business results.

This is apermanent hybrid role, based out of one of our offices in Toronto, ON;
Squamish, BC; or Montréal, QC. The successful candidate willbe required to work from the office three days per week.

The salary range for this position is $105,000–$115,000 CAD, based on experience, plus greatperksand benefits.

A passion for travel is a must-have! With ityou’llbring:

Strong knowledge and experience in managing Ground Operations, including seasonal, wilderness, and multi-day active products.

Strong knowledge of the adventure and experiential travel market, key destinations, and industry partners.

Significant senior management experience, with company or country management experience preferred.

Proven senior leadership experience with direct accountability for a multi-disciplinary team, including leading people leaders.

Demonstrated ability to seta clear visionand direction, translate strategy into team priorities, and foster accountability for outcomes.

High levelof financial literacy, with proven commercial and strategic decision-making skills.

Proven understanding of risk and incident management in outdoor and remote environments.

Experience working with local communities, tourism organizations, and diverse stakeholders is highly regarded.

Excellent written and spoken English.

Experience in tourism oranotheroperations-,sales-, or customer-focused industry.
