Telecommunications Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Telecommunications Project Manager to lead complex projects within their rapidly expanding network infrastructure division in Bloemfontein . This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site collaboration and remote work flexibility. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a crucial role for an individual with strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, passionate about driving successful outcomes in the fast-paced telecoms sector.

• Plan, execute, and finalize telecommunications projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
• Manage project teams, including assigning tasks, motivating members, and overseeing progress.
• Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Communicate project status, updates, and potential issues effectively to all stakeholders.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a significant portion in the telecommunications industry.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and on-site responsibilities.
