Business Service Officer

• Shape the future of service by modernizing the client experience through an elevated standard of care
• Supervise and manage Support Professionals
• Execute business and service functions within assigned branches
• Facilitate communication and training for Service Professionals
• Partner with Market Sales and Risk teams to ensure execution across business functions
• Support the Market Business Service Officer with service initiatives
• Lead branches in executing strategic priorities through coaching and behavioral change
• Lead, mentor, and supervise Support and Service Professionals
• Promote cross-training, learning, development, and recognition
• Facilitate interviewing, selection, and onboarding of new hires, Financial Advisors, and Support Professionals
• Partner with the Market Business Service Officer and Human Resources on performance reviews, performance management, and conflict resolution
• Maintain relationships with partners across the Branch, Market, Region, and Home Office
• Conduct Support Professional one-on-one meetings and address Advisor team service needs
• Manage Support Professional coverage for Financial Advisors
• Identify recognition opportunities and share best practices and achievements
• Promote a branch culture aligned with Firm values, diversity, and inclusion
• Manage travel and entertainment expenses, budget tracking, and forecasting
• Facilitate resolution of client inquiries and requests
• Participate in national calls regarding platform changes, policies, procedures, and best practices
• Identify and implement process improvements to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Perform additional operational oversight and delegated duties
• Report to the Market Business Service Officer
• Directly manage Support Professionals

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent education
• Previous industry experience
• Active Series 7 (GS), Series 9 and Series 10 (SU), and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) required
• Other licenses as required for the role or by management
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and resolve complex needs and escalat

• Previous supervisory experience preferred

• Ability to think strategically
