Attractive opportunity to step into one of Nebraska’s largest, most well-respected corporations in this key leadership role. This position is opening up due to the retirement of a respected, tenured financial executive and an exciting internal promotion. Oversee all aspects of consolidation, reporting, international accounting, accounting standard research, partner with operational executives on key initiatives, and liaise with external audit partners.

Coach, develop, mentor, and lead an excellent accounting staff, playing a key role in growing the team as the company expands and becomes more diverse; our client seeks a leader passionate about people development.

Work closely with the CFO and financial executive team to set strategy and vision for process improvement initiatives, organizational expansion plans, acquisition integration strategies, and participate in strategic discussions.

Play a key leadership role in internal controls and confidentiality; this role will frequently have access to highly confidential information, requiring a mature and trustworthy individual.

Act as the main contact with external audit and other key partners.

Participate in important projects including M&A/ acquisition integration, purchase accounting, international expansion, and IFRS projects.
