We are seeking a Managing Director to help lead and expand our Enterprise Data Platform capabilities. This senior leadership role combines technical vision, business development, client relationship management, delivery oversight, and team leadership. This is a USA remote based role, ideally located in the eastern time zone but central time zone could potentially work as well. The Managing Director will serve as an executive advisor to clients, helping them define and execute enterprise data strategies and complex cloud-platform transformations.

This individual will oversee a portfolio of engagements and client relationships, manage a book of business, originate and expand revenue opportunities, and ensure that solutions deliver measurable business value. The Managing Director will also provide leadership across the practice by establishing technical direction, developing reusable capabilities and delivery standards, recruiting and developing high-performing teams, and overseeing technical execution across multiple clients and projects.

Help lead the strategy, development, and growth of Ankura’s Enterprise Data Platform capabilities. Establish the technical vision, reference architectures, delivery methodologies, and engineering standards for cloud-based data platforms. Provide executive‑level oversight of enterprise data platform design and development across multiple clients and engagements. Guide architectural decisions involving cloud infrastructure, data integration, data modeling, governance, security, analytics, automation, and AI enablement. Maintain current knowledge of emerging data, analytics, cloud, and AI technologies and translate relevant developments into new client offerings and practice capabilities.

Develop reusable accelerators, methodologies, and intellectual property that improve delivery quality, speed, and scalability.

Build and maintain trusted relationships with C‑suite executives, business leaders, and senior technology stakeholders. Advise clients on enterprise data strategy, platform architecture, technology selection, operating models, investment priorities, and transformation roadmaps. Manage and grow a book of business spanning multiple clients and engagements. Originate new opportunities and expand existing client relationships by identifying additional needs and developing relevant solutions. Lead business‑development activities, including opportunity qualification, solution development, proposal preparation, pricing, presentations, and contract negotiations.

Communicate the business value of enterprise data platforms and connect technical investments to measurable financial and operational outcomes. Represent Ankura’s Digital Transformation practice in the market through executive relationships, industry forums, strategic partnerships, and thought leadership.
