We are searching for the best talent for an Associate Director, Payments based in Titusville, NJ, Raritan, NJ, New Brunswick, NJ, Malvern, PA, Horsham, PA, or Spring House, PA.
Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company.
PurposeThis position is responsible for the end-to-end clinical site payment process within North and South America. This global leader will work closely with the Pricing and Site Contracting teams within Contract & Centralized Services (CCS) organization and the Local Trial Managers (LTM’s) and Site Managers (SM’s) within the broader Global Clinical Operations (GCO) teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of payments to site for clinical trial related activities.
The preferred candidate will be an innovative leader with a desire to improve the use of technology combined with process excellence to enable a more fluid and efficient overall process. This position will lead the effort and collaborate to own and build our payment strategy for clinical investigators.
- Leads the Americas Payments team for both insourced and outsourced studies. The team has full time, contractors and outsourced business process oversight.
- Ensures alignment with Global Pricing Manager on study pricing design.
- Collaborates with the Global CTMS Payment Manager on system functionality and process alignment to and integrated with various systems.
- Partners with LTM's, SM's and study team members to resolve payment disputes in a timely manner.
- Ensures process integrity and compliance to various financial and health care compliance related obligations.
- Partners with teams from across the business to identify efficiencies, improve processes and resolve disputes.
- Enhance processes to improve the team's efficiency.

- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience
- People management/talent development experience
- Demonstrated AI literacy and an AI enabled mindset, including the ability to apply AI tools responsibly in daily work to improve productivity, decision making and quality of outcomes.
- Experience in Procure to Pay, Clinical Trial Administration, Clinical Site Contracting, Payment Administration or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Work well in a multifaceted environment and can prioritize and respond to changing needs of the business.
- Work independently and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously; must be self-motivated and collaborative.
- Service first mentality
- 10% domestic and global travel may be required
- Prior experience with clinical trial budget development, contracting, payments, etc.
