- Global Transaction Services & Corporate Portfolio Management (Director, Real Estate) position. The Director, Real Estate
- Global Transaction Services & Corporate Portfolio Management serves as the enterprise owner of both real estate transaction delivery and corporate portfolio outcomes. As Global Transaction Services lead, this individual governs the company s worldwide real estate transaction management capability across office, industrial, R&D, and specialized assets. This role owns the transaction services platform including process, standards, performance, and third-party delivery.
Ensuring transactions are executed consistently, efficiently, and in alignment with enterprise strategy. The role balances strategic oversight, operational rigor, and continuous improvement to deliver speed, cost efficiency, and risk control addition, as the Corporate Portfolio Manager, this role is accountable for the end-to-end (E2E) execution of the Corporate Portfolio. This leader functions as the Portfolio SME, governing global project execution with support across all Real Estate Centers of Excellence s (COE) while maintaining direct accountability for portfolio performance, critical dates, and decision quality.
This is not a coordination role. It is an ownership role.
- Own the global transaction services platform, including the operating model, governance, and delivery standards.
- Standardize transaction processes, playbooks, templates, and controls across regions while allowing market-appropriate flexibility.
- Oversee transactions from demand intake through close and handoff to lease administration.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Finance, Legal, Risk, EH&S, and other functional partners.
- Own transaction reporting, including KPIs, Control Tower support, cycle time, savings, risk indicators, and data integrity; provide executive-level reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
- Govern the global third-party transaction management partner, including SLAs, KPIs, contractual commitments, performance, and resource planning.
- Lead partner performance reviews and issue resolution; ensure the right talent, experience, and capacity are in place to meet enterprise needs.
- Provide commission guidance and serve as the first level of escalation; oversee commission structures, accuracy, transparency, compliance, and alignment with policy and market standards.
- Identify and elevate performance gaps, delivery risks, and resource misalignment; address concerns with transaction managers or brokers when execution, responsiveness, or judgment does not meet expectations.
- Lead continuous improvement and transformation focused on speed, cost efficiency, value realization, risk mitigation, flexibility, data quality, and effective handoffs.
- Leverage technology, analytics, and automation to modernize transaction delivery and standardize global best practices.
- Serve as Corporate Portfolio Manager, maintaining a forward-looking view of portfolio health, capacity, utilization, lease events, business risk, cost exposure, and flexibility; translate business needs into executable projects, align transactions with portfolio strategy, workforce plans, and capital objectives, and steer high-quality business cases and outcomes.
Minimum of 14+ years of experience in corporate real estate transactions, portfolio management, or enterprise real estate leadership and a bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree. 10+ years experience operating at global scale within a large, matrixed organization. 8+ years experience governing third-party service providers and holding them accountable to performance standards.
Experience with financial, commercial, and risk acumen with deep understanding of lease structures and transaction economics.
