Office Manager Morgan Hunter is partnering with a growing firm seeking an experienced, people-focused Office Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our professional services firm. This is a hands-on leadership position overseeing 11 onsite employees, including paralegals and administrative staff, and working closely with the firm's Partners. The ideal candidate is a diplomatic, trustworthy, proactive, and independent leader who builds strong relationships, communicates clearly, sets expectations, and holds employees accountable - without micromanaging.
This is an opportunity for a capable manager to take ownership of the firm's internal operations, build effective systems, develop employees, improve productivity, and work directly with firm leadership on continued growth and success.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 11 employees.
- Establish productivity standards, KPIs, and performance metrics;monitor results and hold employees accountable.
- Monitor workloads, case loads, deadlines, backlogs, and bottlenecks;redistribute work or coordinate outsourcing as needed.
- Provide owners with regular, candid reporting on productivity, financials, and overall office performance.
- Oversee bookkeeping, banking, invoicing, trust accounts, bill payment, and coordination with the firm's accountant.
- Oversee client reporting and establish consistent client intake and maintenance processes.
- Manage recruiting, interviewing hiring, onboarding, performance management, and, when necessary, termination.
- Develop and maintain efficient workflows, policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Lead brief, productive staff meetings and coordinate regular training and professional development.
- Develop a transparent firmwide calendaring system, including staff schedules, work hours, PTO, and work-from-home oversight.
- Manage vendors, vendor renewals, office supplies, insurance, and routine IT/password administration.
- Participate with ownership in strategic growth planning and operational improvements.
- Help maintain a positive, professional, and comfortable workplace culture while fostering accountability and strong employee relationships.

- Ability to set goals, lead meetings, mentor employees, and manage performance without micromanaging.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Quick Books, or Collect Max is helpful but not required.
