About the Role
Our client is expanding its renewable energy division and is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead critical projects based in George . This role is pivotal in overseeing the lifecycle of renewable energy installations, from conception and planning through to execution and handover. You will manage cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will be crucial in fostering strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Manage all phases of renewable energy projects, including feasibility studies, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges to ensure successful delivery.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders , and regulatory authorities to ensure project alignment and compliance.
- Monitor project progress, reporting key metrics and performance indicators to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil), Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the energy or construction industry, with a focus on renewables.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Prince2).
- Experience with solar, wind, or other renewable energy technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
