Green Light Solutions is looking for a Green Team Program Manager to lead our Green Event Services program - the team that #Starvesthe Landfill at events across Arizona. We work everything from small corporate and church events, to music festivals, conferences, and stadiums of 30,000 people.

The ideal candidate thrives on juggling a dozen moving parts at once: client communications, supplies logistics, volunteer rosters, waste hauler partnerships, and more. This person is self-driven enough to own a project end-to-end with minimal oversight, lead a team, take constructive feedback, and ensure clients, staff, and volunteers feel valued. The ideal candidate is an efficient problem solver and strong communicator: resourceful, flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of building a strong sustainability strategy.

They aren't afraid to push for a better way of doing things, and when something doesn't go as planned, they learn from it and pivot quickly. They remain calm and organized when an event shifts at the last minute. Most importantly, they care about real, measurable impact - not just checking boxes.

• Hands-on experience in sustainability program design, staff training, and end-to-end program leadership and delivery
• Skills in evaluating and maximizing nonprofit program impact
• A network of nonprofit leaders and sustainability professionals in the Phoenix area

• Type: Part-time, seasonal 1099 contractor. The workload and hours are yours to shape - bring in more events to grow to full-time, or keep it part-time.
• Location: Must reside in the Phoenix-metro area. Hybrid between remote work, events, site visits, and GLS Warehouse.
• Start Date: August-September 2026
• Hours: Flexible and based on your schedule. We ask that you keep a generally consistent schedule and communicate it to the team.
• Compensation: $1,000/event
• Events are roughly 20-40 hours of work (depending on your efficiency and the event's complexity). As you master the role, you can complete events in 20 hours or less.
• Each event spans a 2-3 month prep-to-closeout cycle.
