About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Remote Senior Project Manager to spearhead critical projects for their globally distributed teams, based in George, Western Cape . This fully remote position requires a proactive leader adept at managing complex initiatives with dispersed stakeholders and virtual teams. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they meet strategic goals, quality standards, and are completed within allocated resources.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful closure of multiple projects concurrently in a remote work environment.
• Facilitate virtual team collaboration, ensuring clear communication channels and effective task management using digital tools.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
• Report project status, key metrics, and potential roadblocks to senior management and stakeholders through comprehensive virtual presentations.
• Ensure all projects adhere to industry best practices, company policies, and quality assurance standards.
• Manage project budgets and resource allocation, optimizing efficiency across distributed teams.

• A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in project management , with a strong emphasis on leading remote teams.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion.
• Expertise in project management software and collaboration tools designed for remote work (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Trello, Asana).
• Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse, remote audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
