Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior HSE Manager to lead their Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives across their operations. This is a remote role, providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and the promotion of best practices within the Oil & Gas industry . You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive HSE strategies, fostering a strong safety culture, and driving continuous improvement in environmental performance and occupational health.
This key position offers the flexibility to work from home while making a significant impact on safety standards nationwide.
- Develop, implement, and manage the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management system .
- Ensure compliance with all applicable national and international HSE regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs to employees at all levels.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of preventative measures.
- Promote a positive and proactive HSE culture throughout the organization.
- Manage environmental aspects, including waste management, emissions, and regulatory reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HSE management , preferably within the Oil & Gas sector .
- Proven track record in developing and implementing effective HSE programs and policies.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations , risk assessment methodologies, and incident investigation techniques.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working remotely and managing teams across different locations.
