About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly organized and experienced Remote Exploration Project Manager to oversee their exploration initiatives. This position is fully remote, allowing you to manage projects from anywhere while collaborating closely with field teams and stakeholders. You will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and financial oversight of exploration projects, ensuring they meet safety, environmental, and company objectives.

- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for exploration programs.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies across various locations.
- Oversee the acquisition and interpretation of geological and geophysical data, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in all project activities.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports, financial updates, and technical findings to senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the mining and exploration sector, with at least 3 years in project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex exploration projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of exploration methodologies, resource estimation, and project economics.
- Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills, with proficiency in project management software.
- Ability to work independently and lead distributed teams effectively.
