Job OverviewYou will lead the manner in a global purchaser offerings organization, working to fulfill the economic services needs of our Card contributors beyond the card. This role is part of the worldwide purchaser services organization (GCSG) and focuses on the U.S. Coverage group, directly responsible for shaping the strategic vision for protection and insurance benefits throughout the GCSG. The position drives innovation in banking offerings, identifies consumer desires, and builds virtual banking products that deliver differentiated value.
Job Responsibilities- Effectively manage development and crowning glory of recent product approach development and related work streams.
- Associate carefully with purpose‑driven teams such as Compliance, Privacy, and Risk to develop hit products.
- Collaborate with marketing partners to increase product launch velocity and enhance advertising claim communication.
- Coordinate with external partners, driving teamwork, transparency and alignment to product vision and goals.
- Optimize the end‑to‑end consumer experience across all touchpoints.
- Develop new product go‑to‑market methodology, lead analytics, and test‑learn approach.
- Directly lead the U.S. Coverage group’s strategic vision for protection and insurance benefits, focusing on continuous product innovation, customer experience enhancement, launch and clean‑up of benefits aligned with Card Member demand, and effective P&L management.
- Oversee growth of the new product pipeline: product strategy, control, and enhancement of new coverage offerings in partnership with the core banking group.
- Manage pilot releases for new products, including product controls, analysis, and collaboration on test and analyze approach.
- Four or more years of relevant experience.
- Strategic and analytical with strong problem‑solving talents, adept at operating in white space.
- Experience in companion management or business development.
- Interpersonal, management and influencing skills with the capability to work with partners across different functions and connect to all tiers of personnel.
- Previous experience leading purpose‑driven teams.
- First‑rate written and oral communication skills.
- Superb “roll‑up your sleeves” attitude and potential to work with a start‑up mentality.
- Prior experience within the domestic lending industry.
- Flexibility to adapt as the enterprise grows and evolves.
