Job Description The Director of Tax at Transform Co is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's tax strategy, compliance, and reporting. Reporting to the VP of Tax, this role involves leading a team of tax professionals, developing tax strategies, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and providing strategic tax guidance to support Transform Co's financial objectives

Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
• Develops and executes tax strategies that align with Transform Co's financial goals, minimize tax liabilities, and optimize financial performance
• Analyzes changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to proactively identify opportunities and risks
• Ensures accurate and timely completion of all tax filings, including federal, state, and local tax returns, and other required tax-related documentation
• Oversees the preparation and submission of tax payments, estimates, and provisions
• Leads, mentors, and develops a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning
• Provides guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to team members
• Ensures compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
• Implements internal controls and processes to mitigate tax-related risks and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Conducts in-depth tax research and analysis on complex tax issues, including mergers and acquisitions, transfer pricing, and international tax matters
• Provides recommendations and solutions that align with Transform Co's business goals
• Collaborates closely with finance, legal, and other cross-functional teams to provide tax-related guidance and support on business initiatives and transactions
• Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates
