We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated CNC Operator Apprentice to join our growing team. The individual will be a shop assistant with the following responsibilities:

• Learn to operate CNC and Edgebanding machinery and related production equipment safely.
• Assist experienced CNC and Edgebanding Operators with daily machine setup and operation.
• Load and unload materials according to production requirements.
• Learn to read work orders, drawings, cut lists, and production instructions.
• Monitor machine operation and identify potential issues or abnormalities.
• Perform basic quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
• Measure parts using tape measures, calipers, and other basic measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures.
• Assist with routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining attention to quality and accuracy.
• Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.

• Previous manufacturing, woodworking, construction, or machine experience is helpful but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning CNC equipment.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical manufacturing tasks.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Willingness to learn and follow workplace safety procedures.
