Position Summary:

HII – Mission Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Manager to join our Huntsville Production Team in support of U.S. Army and U.S. Navy programs involving the design, development, production, and delivery of Part Task Trainer (PTT) training systems. In this role, the Manufacturing Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day execution of manufacturing operations, ensuring products are built safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

The Manufacturing Manager will focus on shop floor operations, workforce leadership, process improvement, and manufacturing execution.

• Supports employees responsible for assembling component parts into subassemblies, finished assemblies, packaging, and completed units.
• Manage the production lifecycle of multiple PTT systems, ensuring build accuracy, configuration compliance, and on-time delivery.
• Supports the Development and maintainenance of production schedules, resource plans, and detailed build instructions.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, quality assurance, procurement, and program management teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Monitor production risks, resolve operational and scheduling issues, and implement mitigation strategies.

• 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing), Manufacturing Technology, Operations Management, Business, or a related technical field or Masters with direct experience in related field.
• Minimum of 8-12 years of manufacturing experience.
