Closets by Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems. We design, manufacture, and install a complete line of custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall-beds, garage cabinetry and more.

We are currently seeking an individual to fill the position of Cabinet Vision Operator/ Cut-list Programmer. This role will join our growing team to help program our organization systems into Cabinet Vision. Cabinet Vision is the software program we use to direct our nested router on what to cut/produce.

• Review sales designs to ensure that the design is compliant with the company’s product offerings, installation requirements, and limitations.
• Define and work efficiently to resolve design questions.
• Program designs into Cabinet Vision for production.
• Complete the programming package and submit it within a time frame that is consistent with company standards and efficiency requirements.
• Provide support to the Pricing, Production, and Installation Departments as required.
• Comply with all company policies and standards of behavior and performance.

• Quality – Develop and implement a personal quality process for each job or project to ensure all items required by the sales package design have been included in the cutlist, including all customer-purchased components and any required machining or special orders.
• Productivity – After three months of training, produce a minimum of $50,000 in jobs per day and continually seek methods for improving daily output.
• Continuous Improvement – Maintain a positive and proactive attitude toward meeting and surpassing customer expectations, continually seeking methods for reducing time to complete jobs and ensuring highest quality.
• Attendance – Arrive to work on time, minimize time away from the workstation, and take prescribed breaks and lunch periods as defined by departmental schedules.

• Experience with Cabinet Vision program or similar CAD is required.
• Drafting or design experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Intermediate or above-average experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with computer usage and technology.
