As our Event Marketing Specialist, leading, planning and coordinating a wide variety of conferences and other events, you will be an integral part of a collaborative Marketing team focused on showcasing our many services and programs to our clients and customers. This is a hybrid position enabling you to combine working from home with working regularly in our Guelph office. Occasional travel to events may be required.

• Planning and organizing events at Homewood Health as well as our presence at other events nationally including logistics, staffing, sponsor ships, speaking engagements and event collateral
• Act as primary point of contact for event organizers and vendors
• Organize event booth, signage, AV, collateral, videos, presentations and printed material
• Packaging and shipping of collateral, banners and marketing material to and from events nationally and cross‑border
• Produce event reports, monthly summaries and regular budget updates
• Work collaboratively with clinical, sales and account management teams to create and execute event specific marketing plans
• Provide presentation support by proofreading, editing and polishing PowerPoint decks for conferences and sales presentations
• Identify areas for improvement and increased engagement
• Support event attendees with scheduling, briefing and collateral

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
• 3 or more years’ experience in a broad marketing role including coordination of events, with preference for healthcare or related industry
• Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus
• Experience leading and implementing project plans involving diverse teams
• Able to work cross‑functionally and recommend improvements to boost performance
• Creative problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent events/projects, delivering 100% on time and within budget
• Experience with, and knowledge of, logistics management including contract/vendor management, budgeting, shipping, packaging, signage and procurement
• Knowledge of design and web tools (Canva, Photoshop), project management tools like , Notion, Jira, and video content developers such as Moovly, Final Cut Pro, iMovie
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, primarily boxes of promotional swag, marketing materials, booth equipment and signage
• Bilingual (English and French) would be an asset
