The Account Executive (AE) serves as the liaison between the client and Affinitiv Advertising, ensuring that the client’s goals and needs are met and performance metrics are delivered each month. The AE is responsible for delivering optimal brand presence across all advertising channels—traditional and digital (Cable, Radio, Broadcast, Digital TV including You Tube True View, Social Media Marketing, Outdoor Billboards, Direct Mail, Email Conquest campaigns).

They develop and maintain strong client relationships, go beyond basic metric reporting, and bring well‑thought‑out ideas, insights and strategies that positively impact business and create lasting trust.

• Open jobs utilizing the internal job submission portal
• Work with Traffic Manager for all production jobs
• Oversee client and co‑op/compliance approvals and maintain records
• Understand how co‑op/compliance programs work
• Make creative changes at the direction of the client and/or AE
• Proofread ads prior to submitting to the client and final vendor
• Maintain accurate monthly budgets for multiple client accounts
• Complete insertion orders
• Interact with clients, multiple departments, and team members
• Manage direct mail, TV production, radio production, print ads, point‑of‑purchase materials, microsites, landing pages, web banners, website maintenance
• Execute monthly planning creative at sole discretion or under senior direction
• Coordinate event logistics, media outreach activities, develop databases, and assemble press packets or training kits
• Create and manage accurate monthly budgets for multiple accounts
• Reconcile individual accounts for monthly billing
• Track the status of each client’s job in the Creative Department and verify timely completion
• Communicate with each client daily about current and upcoming projects
• Provide input on creative strategy and initiate new jobs
• Review and present concepts/layouts/copy to clients for approval
• Communicate client feedback to Account Coordinators or Creative Department and discuss next steps
• Direct the work of assigned Account Coordinators
• Travel to client sites when needed
• Manage pitches and presentations to clients
• Develop SPEC planning outlines for each dealer, with discretion or under senior direction
• Ensure quality and accuracy of monthly SPEC books (format dictated by Affinitiv Advertising)
• Write conference reports within 24 hours of the monthly client meeting (format dictated by Affinitiv Advertising)
• Maintain Affinitiv Advertising standards in all communication, documents, and presentations
• Complete team 90‑day and annual reviews in a timely manner (for any Jr. AEs / Account Coordinators on the team)
• Provide constant feedback to team members based on performance

• 3+ years of experience in an agency setting or equivalent work
• Experience in the auto industry preferred but not required
• Knowledge of Google Analytics
• Experience with client support
• Detail‑oriented and self‑motivated
• Thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
• Maintains composure and functions well under pressure
• Initiative and organized
• Proficient with Microsoft suite and Google properties (Google Drive, etc.)
• Capable of handling multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously
• Persistently overcomes obstacles to complete projects
• Respects colleagues at all levels and contributes to a positive work environment
• Problem‑solving in challenging situations
