Location: Remote (Would prefer candidates local to Atlanta to attend 1-2 monthly meetings in-person but will consider East Coast candidates as well to work 100% remote) Status: 1 year contract Schedule: Standard Business Hours Pay: Determined by experience Job Description: Marketing communications professionals craft messages and produce materials to communicate with a market about a product, organization or idea.
The title covers numerous specialists within the public relations, advertising, branding, direct marketing, marketing, promotions, sales, and online marketing industries. Marketing/Communications professionals are charged with managing and executing outreach for an assigned brand to ensure consistent messaging and uniformity in presentation. This would include development from initial planning, conceptualization and message crafting to production of collateral material, such as publications, Web content and emails, video and audio spots, and positioning in earned media.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conceptualization of publications including web content, emails, videos, etc.
- Managing tasks between different departments and able to accommodate timelines accordingly
- Communicate with media agency and the field (Operators, Marketing Directors)
- Partner with creative team to troubleshoot creative issues as they arise
- Ensure timelines for creative deliverables are met and appropriately managed
- Completed Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred but will consider candidates in pursuit of their Bachelor's for the right experience
- Minimum of 3 years of marketing/communications experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Teams and Sharepoint required
- Experience with InDesign AND Photoshop is preferred but must have experience with at least one
- Experience with Smart Sheets and Survey Monkey preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite experience required
- Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, planning, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Strong project management
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Self-starter with proven track record of high initiative
- Demonstrated understanding of social media marketing
