Location: Germany
We are seeking an experienced Employer Value Proposition and Employer Branding Consultant to partner with our leadership, HR, and marketing teams to refine, articulate, and activate a compelling employer brand across Germany and select European markets. This is a six-month consulting engagement focused on strategy, insight development, and practical execution.
The ideal consultant combines strong strategic thinking with hands-on delivery experience and understands how employer branding intersects with talent attraction, employee engagement, and corporate reputation in the German and EU labor market.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development or refinement of the Employer Value Proposition for Germany, ensuring alignment with company culture, business strategy, and local talent market realities
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including stakeholder interviews, employee listening sessions, and competitive employer brand analysis
- Translate insights into a clear, authentic EVP narrative and messaging framework tailored to priority talent segments
- Advise on employer brand positioning across key touchpoints, including careers sites, recruitment marketing, social channels, and internal communications
- Partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Communications, and Marketing to ensure consistent employer brand activation
- Support the creation of core employer branding assets and guidelines for local and regional use
- Provide recommendations for measurement, governance, and long-term employer brand sustainability
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders throughout the engagement
- Proven experience developing and implementing Employer Value Propositions and employer branding strategies, ideally within Germany or the broader DACH region
- Strong understanding of the German labor market, cultural nuances, and regulatory environment
- Background in employer branding, talent marketing, organizational consulting, or strategic communications
- Demonstrated ability to conduct research, synthesize insights, and translate them into actionable strategies
- Experience working with cross-functional and senior stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in German and English required
- Experience supporting multinational or high-growth organizations
- Familiarity with DEI considerations within employer branding
- Experience aligning global employer brand frameworks with local market needs
- Consulting or agency background preferred
- Six-month consulting engagement with potential for extension
- Flexible working model with remote work and limited onsite collaboration as required
