As the Director of Portfolio Marketing, you are responsible for translating business plans and initiatives into marketing needs across multiple key North American Issuer/Transfer Agency business solutions and segments. The role supports strategic and tactical marketing plans and go-to-market strategies for solutions extensions, enhancements, new technology or data innovation, partnerships, acquisition integration, and other solutions that provide value to clients, future clients, advisors and stakeholders.
The Portfolio Marketing Director will own the strategy, development and execution of marketing plans and go-to-market strategies for various business segments/solutions, in partnership with key business leaders. You will create differentiated value propositions, market-focused messaging, marketing and sales enablement, and cross-channel programs to drive differentiation and strengthen client relationships.

Responsibilities- Develop marketing strategy and plans for business solution/segment (existing, new, emerging) that generate awareness, engagement, growth and retention.
- Translate business strategies and priorities into marketing plans and execution.
- Lead the development of go-to-market programs for Transfer Agency segments/solutions; develop collateral, sales enablement, content, thought leadership, and integrated cross-channel campaigns.
- Research, develop and deploy buyer personas based on target buyer needs, buying journey, and scenarios.
- Develop differentiated value propositions and messaging frameworks targeted at buyers for activation into content and campaigns.
- Inform content strategy and develop collateral, touchpoints, sales enablement, case studies, videos and overall content strategy to accelerate the sales cycle.
- Plan and execute relevant industry forums, events, sponsor ships and webinars; measure ROI.
- Develop sales enablement plans and tools to drive engagement and adoption of offerings.
- Evaluate opportunities to optimize marketing mix across channels and create collateral for integrated campaigns.
- Support delivery of sales enablement content to align with buyer journey and RFP/pursuit processes.
- Oversee launch planning and go-to-market strategies for new products and services offerings, including innovation and product roadmap launches.
- Formulate market sizing, segmentation and targeting strategies to inform the global approach.
- Own relationships with third-party analysts or primary research vendors as appropriate.
- Collaborate on competitive/industry analyses and identify differentiation opportunities or gaps.
- Develop customer references, testimonials, and case studies for external and internal use.
- Conduct win/loss interviews and analyze customer adoption to inform the offering team.
- Monitor and report on marketing program performance and related sales results.
- Collaborate across marketing to drive end-to-end program delivery and integrated campaigns.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field;
Master’s Degree (preferred). - 10+ years of B2B marketing experience in financial services, equities, governance, and/or fintech segments; experience marketing complex financial solutions.
- Proven ability to drive engagement and business results through strategic and tactical B2B programs and GTM strategies.
- Experience building value propositions and messaging that inform content and thought leadership.
- Experience marketing financial services or complex solutions leveraging technology and data innovation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
