Heritage Golf Group is one of the fastest-growing owners and operators of private country clubs and daily-fee golf courses in the United States. With a portfolio that has expanded dramatically in recent years, we are building a high-performing corporate marketing team that supports both national brand initiatives and the unique character of each club.

The Marketing Manager plays a key role in this structure. This position supports designated clubs within an assigned EVP/RVP region while also contributing to enterprise-level marketing operations, brand governance, and digital infrastructure. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable balancing hands-on execution with regional strategic support. This role is based near our home office in Herndon, Virginia, with the potential for a remote work arrangement.

Candidates located in regions supported by our Clubs or near the corporate office are preferred. Travel to Clubs would be required and expected to be 5% of time or less.

Key Responsibilities Club-Aligned Responsibilities

Serve as the primary marketing partner for a designated set of clubs within an EVP/RVP region.

Responsibilities include:

Marketing Execution & Support
  • Partner with regional leaders, GMs, and club staff to support local membership, private event, F&B, retail, and daily-fee brand, marketing, and revenue goals.
  • Manage paid advertising initiatives for assigned clubs, including Meta campaigns, Google Ads, and targeted digital programs.
  • Design banners, posters, cards, and digital assets for team utilizing Canva and Adobe tools.
  • Track and report performance on all paid media efforts, ensuring clear visibility into leads, revenue impact, and ROI.
  • Support enhancements to club websites (beyond simple content updates) such as new landing pages, improved navigation, SEO updates, and digital conversion optimization.
  • Assist clubs with marketing plan development when funnel support is needed for membership, weddings, or private events.
Training, Tools & Governance
  • Provide ongoing training and support to club staff on core marketing platforms, including social media, email marketing, website management, and graphic design.
  • Conduct periodic audits of club social media, email execution, website content, and listings to ensure quality, consistency, and brand alignment.
  • Ensure club teams have access to approved templates, creative assets, updated menus, photography, and event collateral.
High-Visibility Club Projects
  • Support and coordinate marketing needs for capital improvements, course reopenings, renovations, and new club acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with the corporate marketing team on campaigns, brochures, messaging, and visual assets for high-impact initiatives.
Enterprise-Level Responsibilities

Beyond club alignment, the Marketing Manager contributes to key corporate marketing operations:

Asset & Template Management
  • Maintain and organize digital asset repositories, including updated photography, brochures, menus, sales collateral, and design templates.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, helping reinforce Heritage’s national brand while respecting each club’s identity.
Marketing Operations & Reporting
  • Manage UTM creation and naming conventions, GTM/GA4 tracking consistency, schema markup management and integration of digital measurement frameworks across club websites and campaigns.
  • Compile and analyze monthly marketing metrics for assigned clubs and enterprise reports, supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Support email platform integrations, analytics dashboards, website infrastructure enhancements, and other cross-company marketing systems.
Internal Communications
  • Contribute to corporate internal communications, including newsletters, announcements, employee spotlights, and cross-department updates.
Qualifications

Required
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, ideally in hospitality, golf, real estate, multi-unit retail, travel/leisure, or another multiple location-based service industry.
