The Sycamore Chamber of Commerce is seeking an energetic, organized, and creative Events & Marketing Coordinator to help tell the story of Sycamore’s business community and bring Chamber events and initiatives to life. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, community‑focused environment and wants their work to have a visible, meaningful impact.

• Play a key role in shaping the Chamber’s voice by managing daily social media content across Facebook and Instagram
• Create and promote marketing campaigns that support local businesses, Chamber programs, and Discover Sycamore community events
• Be hands‑on in planning and executing Chamber meetings, signature events, and community initiatives (including some weekends and evenings)
• Work directly with local businesses, community partners, and volunteers to gather content, share stories, and elevate Sycamore
• Support and maintain three high‑visibility websites that serve as central hubs for Chamber and community information
• See your work in action through successful events, engaged audiences, and a stronger local business community

• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once
• A strong communicator who enjoys writing, collaborating, and building relationships
• Experienced with Facebook and Instagram, including Meta Business Suite
• Creative, proactive, and excited by marketing, events, and community engagement
• Comfortable working independently while also being part of a small, collaborative team
• Available for some evening and weekend hours to support events and meetings

• We offer a collaborative, supportive work environment where ideas are valued and initiative is encouraged
• Salary range: $38,000–$45,000 annually, commensurate with experience
