WORX is a full‑service marketing agency that takes digital to the next level. We are seeking a Social Media & Account Strategist to join our in‑house team. This role supports the development and management of both organic and paid social media strategies aligned with client partner goals, including brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation. The Social Media & Account Strategist will also contribute to digital campaign analysis, optimization, and performance management for client partners across a variety of industries.
Responsibilities- Staying up to date with digital marketing and social media industry best practices
- Planning, creating, and managing digital marketing campaigns across a variety of channels
- Writing engaging and concise ad copy and organic content following platform best practices
- Developing organic social media strategies, including:
- Content themes and concepts
- Monthly and quarterly editorial calendars
- Platform‑specific recommendations aligned to brand voice and objectives
- Managing social media scheduling and publishing through tools such as Meta Business Manager, Hub Spot, and Sprout Social
- Overseeing the day‑to‑day account management of social, pay‑per‑click (PPC), and other digital campaigns
- Conducting social listening and community management by monitoring comments, messages, and mentions, and engaging with audiences in a timely, on‑brand way
- Evaluating and recommending social media tools and platforms to support scheduling, listening, reporting, and engagement needs
- Monitoring, evaluating, and presenting the performance of campaigns by generating monthly and quarterly performance reports to client partners analyzing trends, goals, opportunities, and other key performance indicators
- Working in a collaborative team environment
- 2+ years of marketing experience
- Experience building and managing social content calendars
- Functional experience with social platforms and ad managers, including:
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
- Linked In
- Tik Tok
- Pinterest and/or Reddit (preferred)
- Well‑organized and detail‑oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills, listening skills, and an articulate presenter
- Creative problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting performance insights to clients
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience), preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of market research techniques
- An understanding of marketing automation and lead generation software
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and platform‑level reporting
This is a full‑time position that requires the candidate to be in our Prospect, Connecticut office with the flexibility of remote work when needed.
