Our client is looking for an Associate Technical Marketing Manager to join the Technical Marketing team for the next six months, with possibility of extension. Technical Marketing is a newer Product Marketing function that creates content, tools, and templates that visually show our solutions to drive market awareness and adoption.
As an Associate Technical Marketing Manager (ATMM) you will support the Technical Marketing team as a project coordinator across key deliverables and in creating content for specific sales activities. The ATMM assists in the delivery of field enablement materials, ensuring sales and customer success teams are equipped to demo the platform.
Roles include translating product features into compelling visual stories and enablement resources: creation of product content, support for project and content logistics, coordination of product release programs, support event preparation for construction industry events, and maintenance of key technology tools such as JIRA.
Responsibilities- Assist in the creation of powerful story narratives that visually communicate the value of our products and platform, such as draft videos, simple screenshots, demo recordings, or webinar content
- Learn to configure and stage product instances for basic value‑based use cases
- Support the visual product marketing efforts for new product features and investments by creating foundational knowledge assets
- Engage with Product Management, Product Strategy, Solutions Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to gather information needed for enablement assets
- Help assess needs for new basic content, tools, and documentation
- Support the Technical Marketing Manager in working with sales and customer success to identify and close gaps in our visual assets
- Must be local to Austin, TX and able to work onsite in the office at least 3 days per week, with remote work allowed for the other 2 days. Acts as team liaison onsite for driving project timelines and milestones
- One to two years of experience in Marketing or Field Sales is helpful, but entry‑level candidates with relevant internships will be considered
- Strong preference for candidates comfortable with and experienced using JIRA for managing work
- Prior experience working in SaaS, especially in support of product launches, is a plus
- Presentation skills:
Basic comfort presenting or co‑presenting content, including supporting creation of presentation materials - Production skills:
Basic writing and editing skills; familiarity with video, photo editing, and/or demo creation tools is a plus - Experience working with cross‑functional teams (e.g., Sales, Product) in a supportive role
- Eagerness to learn about product areas within a matrixed team/organization
- A connection to the construction industry or the con‑tech landscape is a plus
- Desire to grow and develop into new product areas and the broader platform
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- $41.66/hr. (Client‑specific; identity disclosed if selected)
