Marketing Assistant, full‑time position located in the Administrative office, Turlock, CA.

The Marketing Assistant will support the execution of marketing initiatives across print, digital, email, and social media channels while helping maintain and update the marketing calendar, coordinating timelines, and ensuring deliverables are met. This role will assist in creating, scheduling, and managing social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Linked In, ensuring consistent branding and messaging. Additional responsibilities include contributing to basic content creation – such as captions, graphics, and internal and external communications – and coordinating marketing materials, merchandise, and promotional items, including inventory tracking and distribution.
The Marketing Assistant will also support advertising campaigns, promotions, sponsor ships, trade shows, conventions, and community events, collaborating closely with branch marketing representatives to ensure branch‑level needs are fulfilled. This role will also assist with memberships and community partnerships; coordinate with vendors and external partners; and support reporting and tracking of marketing activities and performance metrics to help evaluate campaign effectiveness and other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications- Associate’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Linked In).
- Basic understanding of branding and content strategy.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva or similar tools preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience supporting events, trade shows, or community outreach.
- Knowledge of reporting and measurement tools (social analytics, spreadsheets, etc).
- Familiarity with agriculture is desirable.
- Comfortable collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Yosemite Farm Credit offers a competitive benefit package that includes outstanding vacation/sick time accrual, health, dental, and vision plans, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) fixed AND company match, corporate fitness program, performance‑related compensation, volunteer time off and paid holidays. The base salary for this position ranges from $4,200 (minimum) to $4,800 (maximum) per month, depending on experience. Position is also eligible to participate in an annual incentive program (performance‑related compensation) earning up to 10 % of annual base salary.
This program is subject to board approval.
Yosemite Farm Credit offers a Workplace Flexibility Program for qualifying positions that provides the opportunity to have a hybrid (in‑office and work-from‑home) schedule. The program includes an allowance of up to $500 for qualifying expenses to outfit employees’ home office. Please note, this is not a fully remote position.
