Part-Time Social Media Manager; on-site

A leading beauty company is seeking a part-time 30-hrs per week Senior Social Media Manager to support their dynamic team.
Located in Montclair, NJ, the role is on-site 1x per week
, combining remote work with in-office collaboration. This is a temporary position lasting approximately 2-months + possible extend
, ideal for someone passionate about content creation and social strategy.

On-site 1 day per week in Montclair, NJ

Commute: 42 min train from Penn + 3 min walk to office from train station

Any Consumer product recent experience (apparel, CPG, etc. Beauty is nice to have)

• Manage content calendar and develop and implement social media content strategies, ensuring alignment with brand voice and goals.
• Manage daily operations across platforms such as Instagram, Tik Tok, and Facebook, maintaining active community engagement.
• Customize strategies for each social channel based on audience and format differences, such as Reels, Stories, or Carousels.
• Collaborate with creative teams and influencers to build authentic partnerships and expand reach.

• 5-7 years of experience managing social media for consumer brands, preferably in beauty, DTC, or CPG.
• Strong content creation skills with a portfolio demonstrating expertise across platforms.
• Proven ability to develop creative strategies that translate brand vision into compelling social content.
• Deep understanding of short-form video formats and platform-specific content.
