  • Gets genuinely excited when you see a trending audio and immediately think "oh, I could use this for..."
  • Loves the creative puzzle of taking one piece of content (a podcast episode) and spinning it 15 different ways?
  • Uses AI tools like a secret weapon - you know how to prompt ChatGPT/Claude to give you exactly what you need, not generic garbage?

About HOC Media:

HOC Media (House of Connection Media) is a female‑led podcast production agency. While we’re known for our Pod funnels® (our signature 10‑episode sales podcast methodology), this role specifically supports our weekly podcast management clients.

Our weekly podcast clients are primarily female entrepreneurs, consultants, and speakers in B2B and B2C spaces who publish episodes every week as their main content marketing and client attraction strategy.

You’ll be working directly with founder Tara and the rest of the HOC Media team supporting our growing roster of business owners who are committed to showing up consistently with weekly podcast content.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing:

You’ll be the social media amplification engine for our weekly podcast clients. Each week, they drop an episode. Your job? Turn it into a full content ecosystem that drives ideal client traffic back to the show.

Weekly, per client:
  • 3 feed posts (captions + graphics) - mix of carousels, reels, trending content
  • 2 stories - promo + engagement
  • 2 trial reels - episode‑specific and general podcast content
  • Weekly performance tracking, trend research, and Manychat updates
  • Posting and/or scheduling through Meta
  • Email to promote the podcast to client’s email list
Monthly:
  • End of month recap post and story
  • Training & team meetings or communication

While the position is remote there may be some in‑person training and work days that are planned in advance for team bonding & strategy days.

The Real Skill We’re Hiring For:

Anyone can post content. We need someone who can chameleon into our clients’ voices - one day you’re writing for a business coach with dry humor, the next you’re in the voice of an earnest therapist. You should be able to binge someone’s content and then write captions that sound like them, not you.

You also need to be exceptional at using AI to work smarter. We’re not looking for someone who copies and pastes AI outputs - we need someone who knows how to prompt, refine, and use AI to amplify their creativity and efficiency.

You’re Great For This If You:
  • Actually enjoy creating social media content (not just tolerate it)
  • Can move fast within systems and templates we provide
  • Have an eye for what’s working on Instagram/Tik Tok right now
  • Can write compelling copy that sounds natural, not corporate
  • Are comfortable with Canva, Descript, Cap Cut (or similar editing tools), and Meta scheduling platforms
  • Love the idea of batching content creation and working efficiently
  • Have good attention to detail. Comment the word RED in the application question about your skills.
  • Are actively learning and experimenting with AI tools - you geek out over finding better prompts and workflows
  • Are familiar with Airtable (or can pick up on new softwares quickly)
  • You operate or are comfortable operating in Eastern Time
You’re NOT Great For This If You:
  • Want full strategy ownership (we provide the strategy, you can help customize it to each client)
  • Need full‑time income immediately (this is $500/month to start with growth potential)
  • Think AI is "cheating" or avoid using it
  • Are not good at self‑managing and meeting deadlines
  • Can’t take client feedback and apply it to future work

  • Proven ability to use AI tools effectively (we want to see how you actually use them in your workflow)
