  • Collaborate closely with Editorial, Publicity, Sales, and Design teams to ensure cohesive and effective campaigns.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for authors and agents, providing clear communication, thoughtful guidance, and regular marketing updates.
  • Communicate campaign plans and progress to internal stakeholders, including sales teams, editorial and publishing, and senior management.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of trends in the adult book market, publishing landscape, and digital platforms, and proactively suggest new approaches to reach readers, influencers, and booksellers.
  • Analyze campaign performance and use insights to refine strategies and inform future marketing efforts.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in book marketing for a manager position; 7+ years for a senior marketing manager.

  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively with authors, agents, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage budgets in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities at once.
  • Results‑driven, resourceful, and able to work independently while also thriving as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing trends, and audience engagement best practices.
  • Familiarity with digital analytics, online marketing tools, and basic design principles is a plus.
