- This is a remote role open to candidates residing in UT and within commuting distance of our South Salt Lake City headquarters.
As Director of Product Marketing at PDQ, you will lead the team responsible for how we compete and win in the IT management and security landscape. This leadership role sits at the intersection of Product, Sales, and Marketing, owning competitive strategy, market insight, and how we bring products to market across our product portfolio.
You will partner closely with Product leadership to bring customer and competitive insight into roadmap priorities and ensure our differentiation is clear in the market. You will also work alongside Growth Marketing and Sales to align launches, campaigns, and enablement around a unified market narrative.
This role also oversees the Content Marketing program, ensuring product direction and market perspective are reflected consistently across thought leadership and full funnel content.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in technical B2B SaaS, a clear understanding of what makes products win in competitive markets, and a track record of influencing executive decisions through structured market and customer insight.
What you’ll be doing- Define PDQ’s category strategy across endpoint management, device security, and IT operations
- Develop a deep understanding of customer segments, buyer dynamics, industry trends, and competitive positioning
- Partner with executive leadership to inform quarterly and annual planning
- Develop and maintain a strong point of view on the competitive landscape, including established players, emerging entrants, and adjacent category movement
- Translate competitive and deal insights into clear guidance for Product, Sales, and Marketing
- Oversee content strategy, ensuring competitive insight, customer understanding, and product roadmap priorities consistently shape messaging, campaigns, and full funnel content
- Strengthen Sales enablement with evidence‑based differentiation and competitive narratives
- Contribute to pricing and packaging strategy through customer research, usage insight, and competitive analysis
- Ensure launches are part of a cohesive portfolio strategy that strengthens PDQ’s market position
- Hire, mentor, and develop a team of product marketers aligned to product lines and strategic initiatives
- Establish operating rhythms, planning frameworks, and cross‑functional collaboration models that scale with company growth
- Foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, analytical rigor, and customer obsession
- Ensure strong partnership with Content Strategy, Demand Generation, Customer Marketing, and Creative to translate insight into execution
- Define and track KPIs tied to win rates, competitive performance, product adoption, pipeline influence, and revenue impact
- Build reporting frameworks that demonstrate Product Marketing’s contribution to company growth
- A strategic thinker with strong instincts for market structure, competitive dynamics, and category evolution
- Experienced influencing product direction through customer research, deal intelligence, and market analysis
- Comfortable operating in a senior leadership level and leading cross‑functional initiatives
- A clear communicator who can distill complex technical concepts into compelling narratives
- Data driven, customer focused, and collaborative in your leadership style
- 10 plus years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven success leading Product Marketing and Content Marketing in technical or infrastructure focused SaaS environments
