We are hiring a Senior Brand Manager of Innovation who will be responsible for driving short term growth and planning for long term growth across the Innovation platforms, while building consensus across the organization.
Primary Responsibilities Lead the Innovation Pipeline- Lead the development of the brand pipeline in alignment with overall business and brand objectives.
- Identify emerging food trends, market gaps, and consumer insights to inform proposition development
- Prioritize lead propositions using the desirability, feasibility and viability framework
- Lead the execution of the brand pipeline; managing timing and proposition delivery with effective contingency planning
- Drive proposition development and validation, collaborating with cross-functional teams including Insights, R&D, Operations, and Sales.
- Partner with the brand team and sales to determine lead go-to market approach
- Collaborate with Insights to ensure consumer centric innovation and validation of critical assumptions.
- Work closely with R&D to understand product capabilities, unique selling propositions and to iteratively prototype.
- Collaborate with Sales to create effective sales stories
- Collaborate with Finance to build viable P&Ls
- Bachelor’s degree with 6-8 years’ experience in Food or Beverage industry
- Proven experience in leading and launching new production innovation in both fuzzy front end innovation and closer in innovation
- 5+ years in a innovation marketing or brand manager role with P&L ownership
- Proven experience moving innovation through a matrix organization at a rapid pace.
- Experience with Design Thinking or Lean Start Up methodologies a plus
This role will work closely with Insights, R&D, Brand Teams and the Sales Organization to drive new differentiated propositions into market.
