Fully Remote Position, South Africa – The employee will be expected to have a reliable and fast internet connection, power back-up, and a dedicated workspace.

Basic Salary: R14,566.67 – R15,483.33 per month (R174,800 – R185,800 per annum)

OTE: R16,250 – R17,333.33 per month (R195,000 – R208,000 per annum)

Hours:

40 hours per week

Monday – Friday

Flexible across the hours of UK hours of 8am – 6pm

The Marketing Assistant will support the day-to-day delivery of our client’s marketing activities, with a strong focus on content creation, particularly Instagram Reels
. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager to create, edit, and publish engaging short-form video content that supports brand awareness, lead generation, and audience growth.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role suited to someone who enjoys being creative, working at pace, and taking ownership of output. You will be responsible for producing consistent, high-quality content while following brand guidelines and marketing direction. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who is eager to learn, develop practical skills, and gain real-world experience in a fast-growing company.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role focuses on supporting and executing marketing activity, with a particular emphasis on content creation:

Creating short-form video content, primarily Instagram Reels.

Editing videos using tools such as Cap Cut.

Designing simple marketing assets using Canva.

Writing captions aligned with brand tone and messaging.

Scheduling and publishing content via Meta Business Suite and Status brew.

Supporting general marketing tasks and campaigns.

Working to weekly content plans and deadlines.

Collaborating closely with the Marketing Manager.

Ensuring consistent output and quality standards.

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

Producing a minimum of 10 Instagram Reels per week.

Editing and repurposing content for social media platform.

Writing clear, engaging captions.

Scheduling content accurately and on time.

Supporting campaign execution and promotions.

Following brand guidelines and creative direction.

Managing tasks and deadlines through Asana.

Assisting with general marketing administration.

Continuously improving content quality and efficiency.

Representing the brand across all marketing activity.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

Strong interest in marketing and content creation.

Confidence using social media platforms, especially Instagram.

Basic experience with Canva and Cap Cut.

Willingness to learn and take feedback.

Desirable:

Experience creating short-form video content.

Familiarity with Meta Business Suite.

Experience using task management tools such as Asana.
