A premier global lifestyle brand is seeking a seasoned and motivated Trade Marketing Manager to join our North American team. In this role, you will be the strategic architect behind our retail marketing efforts, driving growth and brand presence across the US and Canada. This role will be onsite for the first 90 days (hard requirement) and then become hybrid with 3 days in Monroe, CT office and 2 days working from home.

Candidates must currently live within commuting distance of Monroe, CT.

You will lead the development and execution of trade plans for our retail and CPG products. Your mission is to bridge the gap between global strategy and local execution, creating high-impact programs that drive both sell‑in and profitable sell‑through. Deliverables include brand presentations, sales kits, visual merchandising, training materials, promotions, incentives, prospecting, and Go‑to‑Market plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Execution:
    Develop and implement the North American trade marketing roadmap, ensuring alignment with global brand standards.
  • Sales Partnership:
    Act as a dedicated partner to the Sales team, immersing yourself in the sales process to create cohesive growth strategies.
  • Retail Growth:
    Drive category expansion at the retail level through innovative visual merchandising, promotions, and incentives.
  • Project Management:
    Lead Go‑to‑Market (GTM) plans and product launches, ensuring all deliverables—from sales kits to training materials—are on time and meet measurable KPIs.
  • Budget & Analysis:
    Provide oversight of the trade marketing budget for assigned categories and utilize competitive analysis to refine market positioning.
  • Audience Expansion:
    Adapt global consumer personas for the North American market to broaden brand reach.

    Reports to:

    VP of Marketing. Collaborators:
    Sales, Product Development, Customer Service, Sales Planning, and Global HQ counterparts.
Experience
  • Education:

    BA Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    5+ years of dedicated marketing experience, with a heavy emphasis on Trade Marketing.
  • Strategic Mindset:
    Proven ability to manage both high-level strategic planning and hands‑on operational execution.
  • Collaboration:

    A team‑oriented leader who excels in cross‑functional environments and can effectively manage outsourced marketing activities.
  • Analytical Prowess:
    Strong skills in sales analysis and competitive business strategy.
  • Mobility:
    Willingness to travel to support trade shows and conduct high‑level marketing presentations.
