POSITION SUMMARY

Supports the Marketing Manager / Assistant Manager in executing marketing initiatives, promotions, and projects that enhance the organization’s brand and services. Responsibilities include coordinating marketing activities, assisting with material production, and ensuring timely, accurate delivery of campaigns. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and design tools. Collaboration across teams and adherence to compliance standards are essential to deliver high-quality marketing support aligned with organizational goals.

ESSENTIAL

POSITION FUNCTIONS
  • Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and projects under the guidance of the Marketing Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Coordinate the production and delivery of marketing materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support advertising, event marketing, social media and digital marketing activities, including creative development and basic analytics reporting.
  • Maintain organized records of marketing assets, vendor communications, and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information for marketing initiatives and ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Provide administrative support for marketing events, meetings, and budget tracking.
  • Monitor industry trends and share insights to support marketing strategies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE,

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Previous financial industry and customer service experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required and 0 to three years of experience in marketing.
  • Hands‑on experience managing social media platforms and paid social campaigns.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and make sound decisions in accordance with brand standards and department guidelines.
COMPUTER SKILLS

Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Must be proficient in technology applications including the Credit Union’s operating system and specialized software required for performance of position.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position may qualify as Remote or Hybrid with a home base at one of Wescom’s offices. The Remote or Hybrid status may be discontinued by Wescom in its sole discretion at any time and for any reason or no reason or with or without notice by Wescom or Employee.
