The Role

The Beyond Trust Sr Field & Partner Marketing Manager, Public Sector is responsible for helping to build, execute, and communicate the field & partner marketing plan for public sector (Federal, State, Local government, K-12, Higher Education). They will also have the opportunity to support America’s events (virtual & physical) and major US trade shows. The Sr Field & Partner Marketer, Public Sector will work with cross‑functional stakeholders and regional business owners to build and accelerate pipeline through targeted, integrated campaign motions, inclusive of bespoke webinars, third‑party sponsor ships, executive round tables, trade shows, regional events, ABM programs, customer‑focused events, and strategic SDR campaigns, and in concert with priority corporate digital & demand campaigns.

Reporting to the Sr Manager, Field & Partner Marketing Manager, Public Sector, the ideal candidate will have experience in end‑to‑end event management and execution, be proactive, organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity and changing priorities. Previous public sector experience is required.

What You’ll Do
  • Create localized demand generation strategies, integrating field events, ABM programs, and partner marketing activities, that reliably produce leads and build a pipeline for the public sector.
  • Identify opportunities to drive various hosted event formats such as CxO events, customer‑led panels, fireside chats, round tables, webinars, Executive Briefings, and other bespoke experiences.
  • Work with cross‑functional team members (Sales, Partner Ecosystems, SDRs, MOPS, Digital & Demand Gen Marketing, ABM Marketing, Product Marketing, Global Partner Marketing, etc.) to support the orchestration of high‑impact marketing campaigns and programs.
  • Help manage external vendors and third‑party event sponsorship opportunities based on market reach and target audience relevance.
  • Lead campaign reporting and post‑mortems, ensuring all projects have clearly defined success metrics that are tracked, analyzed, and communicated to key stakeholders.
  • Own the lead lifecycle and constantly drive to accelerate funnel velocity to maximize conversions and help drive the revenue goal in your region.
  • Partner closely with the larger public sector GTM teams to understand specific government and education market priorities.
What You’ll Bring
  • 7+ years of proven experience in B2B marketing (enterprise software, SaaS, Security, Identity, etc.). At least 5+ years of US government experience, either in a government position or selling to government customers.
  • Deep understanding of public sector personas, and familiarity with effective marketing strategies and buying motions across a wide range of government or educational institutions.
  • Track record of implementing effective and creative marketing campaigns that generate new leads, opportunities, and accelerate the pipeline through deal registration.
  • Ability to logistically execute on multiple concurrent events that require effective pre, during & post motions and communication among cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience working with channel and strategic partners to plan and execute on programs.
  • Strong analytical skills, the ability to draw insights from KPIs, and leverage data to guide decision‑making.
  • Team player with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced and changing environment with tight deadlines.
  • Hands‑on experience with Salesforce, Eloqua, Craft, Tableau (or other marketing automation and analytics tools).
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel when needed (~20%).
